Manor Farm Community Association are Hiring!
Site Maintenance - Multi Trade Handyman
Permanent position: flexible hours per week (2-3 days)
Salary: £15 per hour
Manor Farm Community Association is a registered charity that provides a wide range of educational, recreational, leisure, social and cultural activities and services for the people of Walsall.
Based at the Manor Farm Centre in Rushall, Walsall, they are currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance/Multi trade Handyman to look after repairs and improvements to our buildings and grounds.
It would suit a tradesperson with "nouse" - someone who no longer wants site work or working away but is not yet ready to hang up their tools for good. Knowledge and experience of undertaking all general maintenance duties, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating, etc but not fazed and willing to do anything!
They are looking for a hardworking, conscientious and flexible individual with a 'can-do' attitude who wants to be an important part of a team who love to help the community and get things done.
You will:

Have loads of energy, enthusiasm and take real pride in your work

Be able to manage your own work and use your initiative

Aaina Community Hub are Hiring!
Partnership Manager
Aaina Hub are currently recruiting for a Partnership Manager to lead an important programme tackling race disparities in employment for young people from Pakistani and Bangladeshi backgrounds in Walsall.
Job Details
Position: Partnership Manager
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed annual contract, reviewed yearly, running until September 2028
Location: Digital Hub, St George’s Street, Walsall
Working pattern: Monday–Friday, with flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend meetings
About the Role
The Partnership Manager will lead a team of staff to address race disparity in employment affecting young people from the Pakistani and Bangladeshi community in Walsall.
The role involves developing a shared local ambition for systems change, building strong partnerships, and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including local authorities, employers, education providers, community organisations, and the voluntary sector.
The post is informed by national evidence, including research from the Youth Futures Foundation on narrowing the employment gap for ethnic minority young people.
